Bingo! Call it, mark it, and let the room fill in the rest.
Picture bingo for group sessions. Print the cards, cast the board to a projector, and call each item out as it appears.
How to play
-
Print your cards.
Each set comes with 50 ready-made cards, printed two to a page. Use the standard 5x5 card, or the easy 5x3 card with fewer squares. Print as many as you need for the group playing that day.
-
Hand out and get set.
Give each senior a card before you start. Keep the marksheet beside you. It lists every item that can come up, so you can tick each one off as it is called and keep track of what has already appeared.
-
Cast it to the big screen.
Cast the board to a smart TV or projector, so the whole room is looking at the same screen.
-
Call it out.
Start the game and one item appears. Seniors mark it on their card if they have it, and you mark it on your marksheet. Move to the next item when the room is ready, and carry on with whatever bingo rules your group already plays by, straight line, four corners, full house, however you usually run it.
NoteEasy sheets work well for seniors with dementia, or any time you want a shorter game.
For a festival
A card that matches the season gives a session a reason to happen.
Everyday themes
Fruits, tools, animals, hawker food. Familiar things, so the calling out turns into conversation.
